I am delighted to win 3rd prize in the PEFC UK and Ireland photo competition with my photograph of a Sunday running group in Delamere Forest, Cheshire, UK. This national competition received over 300 entries on the subject of "Life in the Forest".
The three winning images then joined the winning photos from the other 22 national PEFC photo contests and were put forward for the chance to win the International 2017 PEFC "Photographer of the Year" award taking place in Helsinki, Finland.
The 22 national contests took place around the world and ran during the same time-frame: from Earth Day to World Environment Day 2017. In total, PEFC received more than 11,000 photos internationally.
My "Forest Runners" photograph has also been published on PhotoVogue. Selected by Alessia Glaviano, Photo Editor of Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue.
